About Remo's Catering

The Mazzolenis of northern Italy came to the United States post-World War II after making a reputation for themselves in France, where grandmother Amata was a pastry chef. Amata and her sons Remo, Ermond and John came to Pittsburgh where they opened the original Frenchy's Restaurant in East Liberty and then downtown Pittsburgh, and La Cite in North Park. Under the watchful gaze of father Remo's portrait (the namesake of this thriving catering business), three generations of Mazzelonis, also known as Spaghetti Brothers, plan and create some the most delicious catered affairs in the western Pennsylvania. Remo's Catering implements food safety practices in all we do. Our commitment is so strong that one of our managers, certified in proper food handling by Allegheny County Health Department, is present at your event. Our membership in these organizations indicates our dedication to the art and science of catering hospitality.
